Finding the Right Mentor
It's Spring and time for some Spring cleaning. Many people are back to work or about to finish school and start their career or a new career. Having the right mentor can help in every way. If you are in

school, you are likely finding a mentor relationship with a professor or faculty member and making friends with a classmate. These relationships can go a long way in the future, so do not lose touch with these people.
As a part-time faculty member in a professional program at a community college, I see this a lot. I serve as a mentor through my professional association as well, but I find that creating a relationship and a friendship first makes for a better mentor/protege experience.
Here at the Foundation, we are working on some new ways to help people develop the best mentor relationship, and we are here to help. As we build our Foundation, and clean our house, we are still here for you. If you need help or inspiration, please reach out to us. We have a great network and are happy to help.
If you would like to serve as a mentor or join our network, please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
Good luck with your Spring cleaning!
